Public Policy
The NYSILC Public Policy Committee, consistent
with its planning function, has found it necessary to develop a public policy
agenda to articulate and support common issues important to the statewide
network and the significant population they serve for the purposes of public
education and awareness. It helps to engage and collaborate with other
disability stakeholder organizations and define the needs of New Yorkers with
disabilities.
