Currently the Needs Assessment Committee has undertaken the
rigorous task of compiling all pertinent data relating to people with
disabilities in New York State and the centers which provide IL services. Data
has been collected on the number of people with disabilities in all 62 counties
of New York, as well as the individual geographics.
VESID has provided data collected by the centers, including
the number of people served, types of disabilities, and funding amounts. This
information has been collected and sorted for analysis by consultants, in order
to provide a written report for committee recommendations and action.,
