2012 Presidential Post-Election Poll

NYSILC recently conducted an online post-election poll of New Yorkers with disabilities who voted in the 2012 Presidential Election. The online poll was conducted on Survey Monkey during the weeks after Election Day through the month of November 2012. The report covers typical post-election results, as well as voting trends for issues like volunteering for campaigns, running for office, and contributing to campaigns. See below:

"The Protracted Struggle of New Yorkers with Disabilities for Equal Voting Rights"
Traces the history of voting in NYS with a focus upon federal and state legislation pertaining to voters with disabilities. Explains why HAVA implementation has a taken a full decade, longer than any other state. Describes the voter ID laws in several other states and the potential threat they pose to voters with disabilities.
